Thunder and Rain is a alt-country band from Golden, Colorado. With a background in bluegrass and a love for pop, the five-piece unit plays country grooves over catchy choruses and dreamy melodies sung by Erinn Peet-Lukes (Guitar/Lead Vocals)
The group formed after a chance meeting at Seattle’s Pike Place Market between Peet-Lukes and Pete Weber (Mandolin) in the summer of 2011. Since then, the duo has added the classical talents of Ian Haegele (Upright Bass), and the smooth sounds of Chris Herbst (Dobro/Lap Steel).
Thunder and Rain has played for audiences in Canada and Ireland, as well as across the US. Their meaningful lyrics and soaring choruses have connected with fans both young and old.
